Steps to reproduce:
I received message with a PDF as an attachment. In the message body I clicked the "preview" option which opened the PDF in a new tab.
Actual results:
The PDF preview was showing strange text rendering and blocks
Expected results:
The PDF should have rendered as with Adobe Reader.

This is not the first PDF that renders incorrectly, and I have seen this happen most frequently with [scanned] PDF that contain images.

PDF preview isn't a Thunderbird feature. You must be using an add-on (I'd guess Conversations).

Indeed I have 'Conversations' 2.5.2. I was not aware of it, it came installed on the box at my office. I will see to forward this problem to the developer.
Putting 'Resolved-Wontfix' since it's not a TB problem.
